Staging - help to sell

As a realtor, you have a number of tools and options to promote a property. In the market we have today, we strongly believe that one of the most important tools is to stage the house.

When most people start looking for a new home, they first look at the MLS and choose a few homes for a "drive-by". If these two first impressions are not appealing, they will not call for a showing.

How often have you driven your clients to a house and found the house in a "not very appealing state"? How often were your clients disappointed? You both lost time and money.

As staging professionals, Staging for Success Inc. will rearrange, refresh and reduce clutter in the interior space, adding colour and appeal, to create that invaluable great first impression.

With a staged house, we make sure that the house looks clean and welcoming.  In addition, we train the owner on how to live in a staged home and what to do before each showing to eliminate a lot of surprises.

Downsizing Service – give us a call

In these days a lot of people would like to downsize. Their children have moved out and they don't need as much space, or there is only one person left and they can’t keep up with a big house. They would like to move into a smaller house or condo but they don’t want to part with some of their furniture. At the same time they don’t know which pieces would fit best in the new home. They'd also like their children to feel at home while visiting, even if it is another house or condo.

Staging for Success Inc. works with the homeowner, walking with them from room to room and deciding about the items they would like to keep. We do an inventory list and then work out a floor plan with the existing pieces. Then we look into flooring, colours and may be some new items. We can also arrange to sell the remaining furniture so the owner is able to spend that money for any purchases towards the new home.

STAGING – we make it happen

Staging is a three step process.

Step one – a consultation (approx. 2-3 hours) that includes a room-by-room written report, detailing what the homeowner can do to better prepare the home for sale

Step two – the homeowner carries out the recommended repairs, repaints according to the suggested colours & cleans up. We can bring companies in to accomplish this step if the owner prefers.

Step three – our team returns to the home to rearrange furniture, reduce clutter and stage the home so it appeals to the potential buyer. (We will provide boxes & packing material).

After the house is finished we will provide the homeowner with our 20 minute training session "Techniques for keeping the house ready for showing".
